Recently I watched PBS News Hour Channel with Judy Woodruff Anchor Story… About hearing a call for hiring those with disabilities.

Rob stopped by… As he was heading to fly out and speak in Washington. You will never guess who might be some of his interesting traveling companions that may have TSA not sure what they were seeing as baggage went through…Brian, Emily and Rabbit Sign Language Dolls plus Grumps. I took their photos before he headed to the airport to his speaking event.

First Sign Language Dolls Donated to Deaf Children

Thelma the Guide Dog gave paws of approval to the first signing dolls for the deaf.. She has dedicated her life to supporting the blind. She recently expanded her efforts to the deaf by coordinating the donation of signing dolls to every deaf school in America.

Thelma’s objective is to have every deaf child in the world with a signing doll in the next three hears. She has aligned herself with local Lion’s Clubs across the United States and with every deaf school in the nation.

Thelma’s human support comes from Rob Hartley, and sometimes she uses his creativity. Hartley has hosted a radio show for six years, has created licensed characters and collaborated with many companies as a creative consultant as well as speaking in front of more than a half million people. Also, he created an all blind bowling league which became national champions. He is the only person in the world to bowl four 24-hour bowling marathons non-stop while averaging over 208.

South Carolina Travel App News

The latest South Carolina travel app co-authored by Liz and Charlie Mitchell, Hilton Head Essentials, is available in new version 1.3. It also is now published on its own website: Hilton Head Essentials. The guide includes 166 pages with 1150 photos in a showcase of coastal experience for visitors and locals. Unique insider recommendations feature where to stay, where to eat and shop plus the best of everything to see and do on Hilton Head Island and throughout surrounding cities, towns and islands including Beaufort, Bluffton, Port Royal, St. Helena and Hunting Island. The Mitchells’ travel app Myrtle Beach’s Best was released in new version 1.4 in December and published on its own website: Best of Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Author and Keynote Speaker to Donate Ticket Sales from Upcoming Movie Premiere to The Keep On Keeping On Foundation

Ken Wallace, author and keynote speaker, will donate 50 percent of net proceeds from ticket sales to the upcoming Chicago premiere of the movie The Keeper of the Keys for the benefit of The Keep On Keeping On Foundation (KOKO), which assists those with severe physical disabilities.

Known for his seminars and books on “Your Better Self,” Wallace co-stars in the film and is hosting the film showing on March 13 in conjunction with Positive Focus Productions, The Wright Institute, Preston & Emily Klik and Bodhi Spiritual Center as a benefit for KOKO.

The film includes cast members from The Secret, including Jack Canfield, Marci Shimoff and John Gray, with 14 additional experts. After its Las Vegas premiere in December 2011, Stephen Simon, co-founder of Spiritual Cinema Circle, said the film “is the most innovative and entertaining film of its kind ever made. Wildly original, howlingly funny, fast-paced, and utterly delightful in every way, the film is truly a gift to the world.”
